KISD - firearm incident on campus

Kerrville ISD notified parents of a firearm incident yesterday morning on the Tivy High School campus. A rifle was visible in a vehicle in the school parking lot. The rifle was left from a weekend camping trip. The student whose car the rifle was left in was removed from campus. No threat was deemed to the security of the campus or students. Having a firearm on campus is a serious offense.
