LCRA breaks ground on 2nd peaker power plant - Maxwell TX

Governor Greg Abbot was in Maxwell Texas outside of Austin on Tuesday with the Lower Colorado River Authority. The LCRA broke ground for a second peaker power plant. The additional plant is to help meet the increasing need for reliable power and to support the Texas Power Grid. The new plant is named after LCRA Board Chair Tim Timmerman.
