Llano Jr High threat 9.17.24

A potential threat made toward the Llano Junior High campus yesterday morning according to Llano ISD’s Superintendent Mac Edwards. Llano law enforcement quickly handled the situation and determined that the threat was not credible. One individual is now in custody. At this time, Llano ISD has no reason to believe that any threats pose a risk to any of our LISD campuses. Last Thursday, an individual was arrested for making threats against schools in Johnson City, Marble Falls, Llano and Blanco. Because of that threat, the Llano school district increased security at their schools.
