A large fire broke out over the weekend in Hays County. Called the Oak Grove Fire. It has not yet been contained. It jumped the Blanco River. Citizens in certain areas were evacuated. The fire has burned over 400 acres. An update is pending this morning. The Texas A & M Forest Service reports that 17 new wildfires were responded to yesterday burning almost 2 thousand acres in Texas.
