Ingram Police officers will soon see a pay increase. New recruits can also expect a 5 thousand dollar signing bonus. Research showed that law enforcement salaries are extremely competitive. Chief Otto Arnim and City Secretary Ruby Dix are looking for solutions to hire and retain officers. Currently Ingram officers pay is 52 thousand dollars per year. Starting salary will rise to 55 thousand and 65 thousand for an officer with ten years of experience. Reports the West Kerr Current.
