Pedernales River trickling

Pedernales Falls State Park reports that the Pedernales River in some places is down to a trickle. Posted pictures show water levels at less than 2 inches. So, the swim area is very low. You can still hike but they warn not to hike during the middle of the day and don’t bring young children and pets as the rocks, ground and sand will heat up enough to burn skin and paws.
