Star Party time at Schreiner University in Kerrville on Friday. The event is from 7:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., at the Loftis Family Science Center. It’s a free event. Visitors can view celestial objects across the Hill Country sky through a 16-inch telescope, from the university’s domed observatory. Several eight-inch telescopes will also be available for public viewing use. Attendees use the entrance gate on East Main Street across from the Schreiner University baseball and softball fields. Free parking is available adjacent to the center.
