Spring RIO Grande Turkey season

It’s Spring Turkey Season in the North Zone. The Hill Country in The Edwards Plateau produces some of the highest harvest numbers. Mature birds are plentiful. Juvenile birds have had a bump up in numbers this year. The TPWD says the best place to find gobblers are around--- creeks and drainages with larger trees. The season ends May 12th.
