Texas Constitutional Amendments

13 of the 14 Texas Constitutional Amendments passed yesterday. Results are unofficial. Proposition 13 which would have raised the mandatory age for judges failed. The amendment with the largest amount of votes is for Proposition 4 which approves the 18 billion dollars of property tax cuts and raises the homestead exemption from 40 thousand dollars to 100 thousand dollars.
