Representative Chip Roy reaches out to Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville regarding the new camp legislation. According to a social media post from President & CEO, Stephen Mabry related that Roy’s office personally reached out to Texas Lions Camp in an effort to understand the real-world implications of the new legislation “Camp Safety Act of 2025”and its likely fallout for both TLC and the broader Texas camp industry. Mabry said costs would be in the 7 figures even if the camp isn’t in a floodplain.
