Texas - Lt. Gov Patrick letter to DSHS

Another letter from Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick to the Department of State Health Services to deny a camp permit renewal for Camp Mystic. The letter dated April 7th, urged Commissioner Jennifer Shuford to not approve or renew any license for any camps that Camp Mystic owners have applied for. Patrick stated that the Texas Rangers are now assisting DSHS in an investigation of regarding complaints of neglect by Camp Mystic of Kerr County in the July 4th floods. The Lieutenant Governor is asking for transparency and clear answers of the tragedy before DSHS issues a state seal of approval.
