Texas State University Mounted Patrol

Mounted patrol and an all female unit at Texas State University patrol the Bobcat campus. A first in Texas.  The idea was proposed last year. Patrol officers - Corporals Aleysha Ortiz and Haley McClaran ride Lyndon and Duke, Belgian horses as they patrol the TSU. The unit continues to train. Next up is graduation and the Presidential debate in September. Lyndon and Duke swearing in is Tuesday. Reports the University Star.
