Fredericksburg ISD is looking at an affordable housing option to house teachers and staff. Reports the Standard Radio Post. The Texas Workforce Housing Foundation met with trustees last week for an overview of their program. Staff would receive stipends that go towards payment on a housing unit that is owned by the Foundation. The foundation helped Austin and Round Rock districts recently. Currently 80 FISD employees live outside the district.
