The Upper Guadalupe River Center Board develops a lake land campaign to purchase 1.6 acres adjacent to Granger MacDonald Park. 395 thousand dollars is the goal to be raised by the fall. The Economic Improvement Corporation (EIC), with the City of Kerrville, approved a sales tax revenue bond that provides $2.2 million in funding for Granger MacDonald Park. The park is 1.5 acres that is on the waterfront of Nimitz Lake.
