A convicted double murderer wants a new trial. Victor Seard was convicted in 2021 for the murder of 2 Comfort residents 20 years ago. Reports the Daily Times. His attorney filed a brief that says District Judge Albert D. Patillo the third admitted very graphic evidence of the victims bodies at trial. And that all they did was inflame the jury. The attorney is asking the appeals court panel to reverse Pattillo’s judgment and remand the case for a new trial. Seard is serving a life sentence.
