The San Marcos Fire Department announced the arrest of arson suspect, 30 year old Jacobe Ferguson. Ferguson faces a first degree felony with a possibility of life in prison. He’s currently incarcerated in the Hays County Jail. In July of 2018, the Iconic Village Apartments was set on fire and killed 5 young adults. Another victim was severely burned. The fire was so massive, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was called in to assist.
