Bandera Co - Sgt Cody Miller won't face charges

Bandera County Sheriff’s deputy will not face charges in a shooting incident from November. According to the Bandera Bulletin, after months of investigation, Sergeant Cody Miller will not be charged in the shooting death of Sterling Mark Brantley, 68 of Medina. Last November, sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a welfare check at a residence on Moffett Road. Brantley came out of the home aiming a shotgun at the deputy. Bodycam audio has Brantley being warned to put the weapon down before he was shot.
