Bandera - Sanctuary animals seized

In Bandera, the owner, Armando Mendez of We Care Wildlife Sanctuary in Lakehills will no longer be allowed to have exotic animals according to BanderaNewzJunky. Bandera Constable and Sheriff’s Office executed a search and seizure warrant at the Sanctuary last Friday . 100 animals were seized after reports of mistreatment and abuse.  About 30 animals were found deceased on property. After 2 hearings at Bandera County Court on Monday and Tuesday, Judge Gina Grothues ordered that Mendez could no longer keep animals on property except for his pets and they would have to be neutered. More action could be taken if warranted along with criminal charges.
