Bexar County - Montessori lawsuits

Lawsuit filed in regards to December’s deadly crash at the Fair Oaks Montessori Pre-School according to the Boerne Star. The families of Alexia Rosales, 22 and Mkaya Amrani, 1 year old each filed a million dollar lawsuit claiming negligence against the driver, identified as Valerie L. Haas and Fair Oaks Excelled Montessori Pre-School LLC. Both families are being represented by the same San Antonio law firm. Haas accelerated her vehicle into the rear of another vehicle which crashed into a fence trapping Rosales and Amrani underneath the vehicle. Haas may have had a medical episode. Rosales died at the scene. Amrani died in the hospital due to her extensive injuries. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office did not file charges against Haas. (photo courtesty of: The Boerne Star)
