Boerne - Long sentenced to prison on sexual assault charges

Boerne Man Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison for Sexual Assault of a Child. Sean Patrick Long, 27 was found guilty of two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and two counts of Sexual Assault of a Child in July by a Kendall County jury. The investigation began in April 2024, when the Boerne Police Department received a report that Long had sexually assaulted a young teenage girl when she was 13 years old. While on bond, Long fled to Mexico. With the assistance of the FBI Long was captured and returned to the U.S. and to the custody of the Kendall County Sheriff's Department. Long was sentenced on Thursday.
