CTEC linemen deployed to help Houston area in Beryl aftermath

Central Texas Electric Co-op headquartered in Fredericksburg sent 6 lineworkers to aid Sam Houston Electric Co-op in their power restoration efforts. Power outages still plague the Texas Gulf Coast Region after Hurricane Beryl’s landfall on Monday. Sam Houston’s Electric Co-op coverage area is Northeast of Houston from The Woodlands past Lufkin. About 39 thousand residents are still without power of the 91 thousand residents in the area.
