Road rage leads to reported shots fired in Gillespie County. Last Saturday, a complainant was following a vehicle on State Highway 16 traveling towards Kerrville. The driver of the reported vehicle fired a shot in the air claiming the other vehicle was following too close. The person shooting the gun was arrested as the smell of marijuana emanating from their vehicle led to a search. They were charged with unlawful Carry of Weapon; Disorderly Conduct Discharge/Display of Weapon. Their passenger was also arrested for Possession of Marijuana. The arrested are from Kerrville. Kerrville PD and Kerr County Sheriff’s deputies assisted Gillespie in the incident.
