Two Kerrville area non-profits receive 5 thousand dollars each from the Carmage and Martha Ann Walls Foundation. The foundation allows Southern Newspaper Inc’s publishers to choose local non-profits to receive funds. Southern Newspaper Inc. owns The Kerrville Daily Times who distributed the money. Recipients of the 5 thousand dollar funds are the Hill Country Gala which services veterans causes. Plus Kerrville Pets Alive, who helps keep animals from being euthanized.
