An Ingram business tried to make concessions for painting his building afoul of historic district requirements. According to the West Kerr Current. Khaled Ornab painted over his rock building with white paint. City Council found out a former administrator gave him permission to paint the building. They don’t want to fine him. Some council members want the building back to its original exterior but it may be too costly. The issue remains unresolved.
