Kerr Co COLA 5% raise

Kerr County Commissioners approved a 5 percent raise for employees and elected officials. The commissioners agreed that if employees receive raises so do elected officials. County Judge Rob Kelly and Precinct 3 Commissioner Jonathan Letz were opposed to the raise only being 5 percent. After reviewing the budget and monies on hand, it was determined there is a deficit.
