Kerr Co - Man gets jail for terroristic threat

Kerr County man gets jail time for making a terroristic threat according to the Daily Times.  Robert Hurt 71, of Mountain Home, sent a terroristic threat via email to Kerrville’s City Council saying that he hoped someone would walk in with an AK 47. Hurt was sentenced to an 8 year suspended sentence but he will have to spend 60 days in the Kerr County jail. If he violates his parole, he will have to serve the full 8 years. He also cannot own a firearm.
