Kerrville asks Kerr Co to participate in TIRZ

Kerr County has been asked by the City of Kerrville to participate in a TIRZ for Lennar Homes. A TIRZ is a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone. Lennar developers can recoup a portion of their investment through the TIRZ. The council’s second reading is tomorrow. The County Commissioners didn’t make any decision regarding the request.
