Murder suspect was on probation for assault

28 Year old Michael Andrew Novak was on probation for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon before being charged with murder. Now, he’s being held on a million dollar bond in jail. Last week, he was found in a Bandera County home with 2 decomposing bodies and arrested. A neighbor reports that the residents were Novak’s mother and her boyfriend who haven’t been seen in awhile. Bandera County sheriff Matt King said that the bodies showed signs of trauma and were too decomposed to ID. The identities of the bodies haven’t been released. Reports KSAT 12.
