Reward for reporting poachers - TPWD

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) offers rewards of up to $1,000 for reporting the poaching of alligator snapping turtles. You can report through Texas’ wildlife crime-stoppers program, Operation Game Thief (OGT). The reward can be doubled if the tip leads to convictions for snapping turtle cases. The alligator snapping turtle is listed as a threatened species in Texas.
