The attorney assigned to the case of Coleman Blevins, a Kerrville man arrested in 2021 for allegedly planning to shoot up the Kerrville Walmart wants evidence thrown out as he’s saying that the search warrant was violated. Reports the Daily Times. Lance Kennedy, says the search was only supposed to cover firearms, ammunition, a computer and cellphone. The investigating officers took more than what was covered in the warrant. Blevins was indicted for possessing a firearm as a felon. His probation was revoked. A trial is pending with no set date. A hearing on a motion to suppress is set for Friday.
