Starbase may soon become its own city according to a press release from the office of Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr. Trevino signed an order approving an election to determine the incorporation of Starbase, Texas, as an official city. The vote will take place during the General Election in Brownsville Texas on Saturday, May 3. The order follows the submission of a petition for incorporation, which met all statutory requirements under Texas law. Starbase, the home of SpaceX, has served as the primary launch site for Elon Musk’s space exploration company.
