TX AG lawyers want impeachment dropped

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s lawyers want all articles of impeachments dropped against him. His legal team have filed a motion to have them dismissed. They argue that allegations against Paxton are baseless. He is currently suspended from office. If the articles are dropped, he won’t go to trial which is set for Tuesday, September 5.
