Another one of the new Texas State laws taking effect September first is licensing reciprocity for military members and spouses. Senate Bill 422 and the federal Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, expands that out-of-state occupational licensing reciprocity. State licenses are not transferable from state to state. This bill will help in military being able to gain employment in Texas sooner after certain criteria is met.
