The 20th Annual UGRA River Clean up netted 4 tons of garbage in last Saturday’s event. Key sponsor Scrap Solutions hauled the debris for free. 550 people participated in the clean-up. Quite a few items were found including 80 baseballs, 32 tires, a plastic swimming pool and a whole lot more. If you weren’t able to volunteer this go round, an On Your Own cleanup will take place in the fall. Registration is available now at ugra.org.
