Burnet County - Eiger Express Pipeline

Large brush fire burned 175 acres in Blanco and Gillespie Counties on Sunday. Called the Althaus Davis. Over 15 emergency personnel responded to the fire. No injuries or structure fires reported. Gillespie County is currently under a burn ban. Blanco County rescinded their burn ban in late January.

Gillespie Co - drug bust - McGill suspect
A several month investigation ends with a large drug bust in Gillespie County on Thursday. As Gillespie County Deputies with the help of Texas DPS tried to take suspect Ryan McGill into custody, a high-speed chase ensued. McGill was eventually apprehended. A search of his vehicle discovered a multitude of drugs including meth, cocaine, marijuana, psilocybin and more. He faces multiple felonies.

Comfort - shooting at local motel
Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer with a deadly weapon in Comfort. Sunday early morning several males were reportedly fighting with shots fired in the parking lot of the Executive Inn Motel, at N HWY 87. Lennar denied MUD for Guajalote Ranch
Lennar Homes denied ability to build a MUD or municipal utility district for their planned Guajalote Ranch Development. San Antonio City Council voted unanimously against the approval of the (MUD), 11 to 0.
