Theatre in the Hill Country

Last night I got to spend the evening with some of my cousins, my mom and my aunts. We went to dinner and then we went to the Fredericksburg Theatre Company to see Mamma Mia! It was great! The singers were awesome especially the girl who played Sophie. I have seen a few shows at the FTC in the past and Mamma Mia has definitely been the best. Sound of Music behind it. They only have a couple of more days of shows for Mamma Mia. After that though is Beauty and the Beast Junior. FTC Junior is basically kids in most of the roles. We saw Frozen Jr and even my oldest liked it. What was really great was to see live productions happening again. It has been well over a year since being able to go to a play or musical, so glad to have it back!!!

Here is the information on Mamma Mia from their website.

As wedding festivities commence on an idyllic Greek island, a young bride-to-be schemes to discover the identity of her father from among three men from her mother’s past. Through the eternally catchy score of ABBA chart-toppers, the hilarious and touching tale of daughter, mother, and would-be dads crescendos to an exhilarating finale celebration you simply can’t resist!
