Looking for something to do this weekend? Comfort is having their Second Annual Harvest Fest. They have Discounts, Gifts, Games, Good Food, Drinks, Live Music and much more. IT is both Friday October 16 and Saturday the 17. Different shops have different specials. Example The Lobby Coffee Shop has a Pumpkin Pie contest Saturday. Singing Water Vineyards/ Bruins Creek Bistro has live music Saturday 3:30-6:30. The 8th Street Market has a pumpkin patch and phot spot. Love local events! https://www.facebook.com/ComfortTX/events

Das Shops at Harper on 290 has its October Market Days this weekend. My boys and I had so much fun at the September Market Days. This time they also have a costume contest and trick or treating. 9-4 This Saturday the 17th. They have great food, shopping, fresh produce, live music and more. They will also have a trunk or treat 9-11. I guess this means I need to take the boys to pick out Halloween costumes.... https://www.facebook.com/DasShopsatHarper/?ref=py_c

The Yellow Door Studio has Art and Vino this Saturday. Have a glass of wine and paint a picture. I did this once with my mom and cousins and aunt and it was so much fun! Just a nice relaxing evening. I am definitely not an artist but they explain things in a way that makes it fun and easy. https://www.theyellowdoorstudio.com/ This Saturday is a cute fall truck with a pumpkin in the bed and a fall tree.

Ingram has their Pumpkin Patch at Stonehenge II. They have food trucks, and other activities all located on the Hill Country Arts Foundation grounds. While you are there buy some tickets to see Count Dracula at The Point Theatre. www.hcaf.com

This weekend is also Trade Days weekend in Fredericksburg. If you have never been you need to go. Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. $5 parking fee and it is good all weekend. Shop with over 400 vendors in seven barns and acres of antiques, collectibles, tools, crafts, shabby chic, primitives, ranch furniture, hunting accessories, candles, unique clothing, jewelry, food and so much more. Relax in the Biergarten while listening to live music. My husband and I love to go. He can sit and talk to the blacksmith or look for old tools and things to make knives out of. If he doesn't want to walk around with me he can sit and have a beer and listen to some live music. Even if you aren't looking for something specific it is fun to look. There are several vendors who have handmade items and I love to get my Christmas gifts from them. www.fbgtradedays.com

If you know of anything else going on then let me know! I would love to check it out!
