Suspicious package in Fredericksburg brings in the San Antonio PD bomb squad yesterday afternoon. Police activity closed off – Creek Street and South Adams Street. The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious package around 2pm in the area. Evacuations were conducted of area businesses and residents. Gillespie Co - fatality accident
Fatality accident in Gillespie County Sunday night. At approximately 10:45 p.m., Texas DPS Troopers responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash on US-87 North near Cherry Mountain Loop. Preliminary investigation indicates that a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound on US-87 when the driver failed to maintain a single lane and struck the driver-side mirror of a Ford F-550 who was also traveling northbound.
