A 6 th family has filed a lawsuit against Camp Mystic. The Peck’s lost their daughter in the July 4 th flood. The lawsuit was filed by Howry Breen and Herman LLP, Austin. Kerr Co - Burton Annex dedication
Today is Veteran’s Day. Kerr County is inviting the public to the dedication of 550 Earl Garrett Street, to be known as the Burton Annex at 3pm. The building housing the Veterans Service Office will be dedicated to Allie Bowman Burton Jr., a decorated military hero serving in multiple wars. Colonel Burton is still living at 101 years of age.

Kerrville - VFW Post 1480 re-opens on Veterans Day

KCAS - Rabid skunk
Kerr County Animal Control reports the county’s eighth positive case of rabies for this year. A skunk was found in a residential yard in the 300 block of Queen Bee Drive, in the Bumble Bee neighborhood located between Ingram and Hunt. An animal control officer collected the specimen last Friday, which tested positive for the disease. The family’s pets were exposed to the skunk. They will have to go through the rabies protocol of quarantine and vaccine boosters if vaccinated
